John Aguilar find an cardboard box more fun to play in than the donated toys that had arrived in it. Amy Aguilar and her son John (2) have been staying at The Road Home family shelter in Murray since early November. Aguilar and her husband, also named John, have spent the past five months searching for a good place to raise their son. Portable classrooms at Jordan Hills Elementary sit on what used to be recreation area. Utah's school population is expected to grow by 100,000 in the next decade. Jordan Hills Elementary, in West Jordan, has tried to handle their high student population (1160 students) by going to a year-round schedule and building five portable classrooms that encroach on the school playground.
