Woman was killed driving car along Canyon Road, swerved off road and into tree. Daily Herald: A Provo woman died Tuesday when her car went off the road, over and embankment and crashed into a tree, according to a Provo Police officer. Officer Greg DuVal identified the woman as Kyung-hae Rhee, 21, of 543 E 2780 N, Provo. DuVal estimated the accident occurred about 10:30 a.m., but it was not discovered until nearly four hours later. Rhee, who was traveling southbound, drifted off the right side of Canyon Road near 2400 north, went down a steep embankment and came to a rest after crashing into a tree. The embankment made it so the accident was not visible from the road. According to Provo Police Lt. Martin Sheeran, a passing bicyclist noticed the vehicle - a silver, late-model Chevrolet Eurosport- at approximately 2:20pm. DuVal said there are no witnesses to the accident, and authorities will never know exactly what caused the vehicle to leave the street.
