It was a good game for action and my three favorites all had Davies matched up with Portland’s Ryan Nicholas, who seemed to be in on every play defensively.
I’ve been trying out the Fuji X100 for wide shots under the basket. I set it to burst mode and get ten frames in two seconds before the buffer fills and the camera stops shooting. At that point the play is usually over but if not I just pick up my Canon and keep shooting. Here’s a shot of Davies with the Fuji…
The tilt, right? As you can see in the sequence below I started rotating the camera in the middle of the play, figuring it should be shot vertically. I didn’t plan it that way, it just happened. Don’t know that I’ve ever done that before.
