Emergency Landing

Salt Lake City - A military KC-135 refueling plane safely made an emergency landing at Salt Lake International airport this afternoon. The aircraft landed at 12:31 p.m. without incident on the airport's west run way, which had been cleared of other planes earlier. Maj. Lisa Olsen says the Utah Air National Guard plane earlier today reported problems with hydraulics serving flaps on one of its wings. The plane has a crew of four on board. It made the landing after having burned off some its fuel load. Trent Nelson/The Salt Lake Tribune; 6.06.2007
